Studio 204

Alicia Asks x Class of 2020

As part of my Final Major Project, I was offered to take on the role of being Assistant Creator in the re-branding and media channel marketing campaign for the BA Hons Fashion Marketing and Communication course at The University of Chester. Collaborating with 2019 Graduate Ellie Preston, we were asked to strategise and plan a forward-thinking and future-proofed campaign which marketed the course and its students to a wider audience and to its highest potenital.

With this course being a relatively new one to Chester, this re-brand proposal was an opportunity to share the work that is produced by the participating students Globally and have the ability to increase brand awareness.

Studio 204, has the potential to reach a vast audience, so with that in mind, it was obvious to us that we needed to ensure we were going to be present in many different places, and a number of different mediums. The final decision made was that Studio 204 would take place in the format of a physical zine, a digital zine and multiple social media channels. We believe that by being accessible on each of these platforms, we can make sure that Studio 204 is able to reach every individual of the intended target market. My role within the execution of the Studio 204 re-brand was to create the physical zine and to create video content for the YouTube and IGTV channels.

Studio 204 are such a strong brand with extremely talented students, and it has been amazing to be a part of the new branding and marketing campaign for them.
